This semester, we will be doing a lot of work on the computer,
specifically
using the Bioinformatics server, Helix. You can log onto Helix from
any computer, which is part of the UTSA network, a Sun station in the
MS lab, or from a remote site (PC) such as home. If you plan to work
from computers other than the Sun stations in the MS lab, you are
encouraged to get a lonestar account as soon as possible. To get a
lonestar account, fill out the application on the web page.
